Neil Gaiman’s Snow Glass Apples Wins the 2020 Eisner Award, Nominated for Two Ringo Awards

We’re very happy to announce that Neil Gaiman’s Snow Glass Apples with art and adaptation by Colleen Doran has won the 2020 Eisner Award for Best Adaptation from Another Medium. And right on the heels of that, Snow Glass Apples has also been nominated for Best Graphic Novel and Colleen Doran has been nominated for Best Artist at the Ringo Awards.

We’re extremely grateful to Jackie Estrada and everyone on the hard working Eisner committee. They went to great lengths to make sure fans got a convention experience this year.

Snow, Glass, Apples was also nominated for the prestigious Silver Reuben Award from the National Cartoonist Society for Best Graphic Novel, with the win going to George Takei and Harmony Becker for They Called Us Enemy. Congratulations!

With most sincere thanks to all the pros who voted for us and all the other worthy books. We are very pleased and humbled to be in your company!

Also, the Society of Illustrators in New York City is open again, and now you can see the exhibit Women in Comics: Looking Forward, Looking Back until October 26. The exhibit features this full wall display of Colleen’s art from Wonder Woman 750, as well as other art by Colleen and great creators like Trina Robbins, Nell Brinkley, Ramona Fradon, and more.

Colleen Doran is hard at work on her next three graphic novel projects. And she very much hopes she lives up to your expectations on all her upcoming work!

Stay well.
