My agent has confirmed three appearances for this year so far. We are negotiating two others.
GALAXYCON Richmond, VA, May 31-June 2. My old buddy Keith Giffen will be in attendance. Also attending are Barry Bostwick, Micheal Dorn, John Wesley Shipp and someone I really want to meet, Paige O’Hara, the voice of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, for which I did art on the Disney movie adaptation! This will be my first Virginia-based convention appearance in nearly twenty years.
CHARLOTTE HEROES CON, Charlotte NC, June 14-16. This will be my first appearance in nearly a decade. One of the best comic cons in the country, this will also feature Mark Waid and Bill Sienkiewicz. Charlotte is a great town!
TERRIFICON, Mohegan Sun Center, Connecticut August 9-11. The convention so nice I’ll have visited three times in the last five years! Also, my parents want a crack at that Mohegan Sun casino. This is a super convention, great venue, with top notch comics and media guests including J Michael Straczynski, George Perez and more! This is one of my favorite shows!
Preoders for my Snow, Glass, Apples with Neil Gaiman, art by me, were due at comic shops this week. Naturally, we sincerely hope you’ll shop at comic stores and independent bookstores! For those of you who can’t, major outlets like Amazon also carry the book which will be in stores in August.
I’ve got several new projects in the can, and am working on others, and negotiating for several more, all the while working on A Distant Soil at my Patreon! Whew!
